I am sorry I did not get to post anything yesterday, the days have been getting busy. These past two days have been spent working a lot with the teacher and with the kids. I am slowly learning the kids name's and they find it so funny when I mix their names up (sometimes I do it on purpose just to see that ear to ear grin on their face). The kids are slowly getting comfortable with me and I am getting more and more attention throughout the day. When they get to the feeding center and get off the bus they swarm over to me screaming REBEKAH! REBEKAH! and my heart melts every time. Once they know who you are they love on you all the time with at least a million hugs everyday. My favorite part of the day is when they sing, and worship. Y'all, I wish everyone could see the way these kids worship, it is so humbling to see them in full out worship at such a young age. Then, I headed up to the mission house to eat one last meal with the mission team, before they leave in the morning. After we ate we all headed down to the feeding center where they were having church with us. Me and two other ladies went outside with the kids and helped with children's church. Those kids were so proud of everything that we did in class and after they finished anything they would run up to you and show off their masterpiece. A few of the girls wrote me notes in English saying how much they love me and those are the kinds of things that mean the most. They were so proud of their English and they were showing it off to everyone. After church was over I had to say goodbye to the team. It broke my heart, I know I have said this in previous blogs, but they have been such a blessing to me throughout their trip. Just the small things they did for me made such an impact on me and showed me that they cared for me. I wish they could stay longer, but I know they have their own lives back their in the states, and I will miss them dearly. I know I will meet more groups throughout my time here, but it's going to be hard for a group to top them. I am so thankful that God placed them in my life and I am 100% sure that each of those people on that team was here for a reason and part of that was to be an encouragement to me and love on me even though I have only know them for less than a week. These trips start out as a bunch of people that don't know each other very well, but by the end of the week they are family. I am so grateful that they accepted me and let me be a part of their family.
